Terms and Conditions

Introducer Agreement

1. Introduction
In order to become an authorised Introducer of Provident Personal Credit (PPC), you must apply by registering on line and agree to the following terms and conditions.

PPC reserves the right to reject an application to become an Introducer or to cancel an Introducer Agreement (“Agreement”) without notice. In the event of an Agreement being terminated any access rights to the site will be removed immediately.

Introducers shall not charge an applicant for any referrals to PPC. PPC reserves the right to terminate the Agreement should a broker levy any charges on an applicant for referral to PPC.

All applications made for credit will be subject to PPC terms and conditions and PPC reserves the right to reject any application without further explanation to the broker or applicant.

2. Product Knowledge
Introducers will be expected to familiarise themselves with the main features and benefits of PPC's product offering, together with basic eligibility criteria, before offering products to appropriate clients of theirs. The products on the site are intended for UK residents 18 years or over only and the Introducer must be satisfied that any applicants introduced are over 18.

3. Direct Contact with Applicants
Once an applicant has been introduced PPC shall communicate directly with any of the Introducer’s clients for the purpose of completing the sale, to resolve any problems that may occur, or to obtain information pertinent to any transaction.

4. Data Ownership
All credit applications, contact requests and agreements shall be the property of PPC.

Leads that are referred to PPC via an introducer but do not convert into a sale are deemed to be jointly owned by both parties and PPC reserves the right to use such data for the purpose of further marketing activity.

Where the applicant has declined to proceed with an initial application with PPC, for what ever reason, PPC may continue marketing communications to that applicant, except where they have stated that they do not wish to be contacted by PPC.

5. Commission
Commission will be paid to the Introducer at the agreed rate, in respect of all new credit agreements where the applicant is not a current PPC customer and where the applicant does not cancel the agreement within the statutory period. Commission statements will be sent to Introducers during the 1st week of each month for sales completed in the previous month.

6. Management Information
Introducers will be able to view applicant status information on line to enable them to monitor the results of any sales activity involving their clients.

7. Consumer Credit Licence and Data Protection Acts
The Introducer must hold an appropriate Class C Consumer Credit Licence and be properly registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and operate within the Data Protection Act 1998.

PPC will only accept applications where a valid Introducer’s Consumer Credit Licence Number has been provided within the Introducer Agreement.

The Introducer must have obtained the client's permission to share the client's personal information with other companies and where appropriate for a credit search to be made.

It is the responsibility of the Introducer to explain to their client that PPC will use their personal information to undertake a credit investigation which will leave a footprint on their credit file with the credit bureaus and that, subsequently, that data may be used for other marketing purposes by PPC or its affiliates. The Introducer is also responsible for informing their client that PPC may check the customer's details with fraud prevention agencies, and, if false or inaccurate information has been provided and/or fraud is suspected, it will be recorded by those agencies.

8. Representation/Agency
The Introducer is not authorised to nor must they make any representations, implied or explicit, on behalf of PPC unless previously approved by PPC. The relationship between PPC and Introducer is not an agency and the Introducer has no authority to contract on PPC’s behalf. No PPC branding may be used in any publicity without the express written permission of PPC.

9. Password Security
You are responsible for the security of your password. It must not be disclosed to anyone else. If you become aware of an unauthorised disclosure you must notify PPC immediately.

PPC cannot be held responsible for unauthorised access to the site by any individual who has gained access to your password and obtained applicant status information by that means. Intoducers are responsible for any activity carried out or information supplied under their Agreement.

10. English Laws
This Agreement is governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
