Q. What information do Provident require from me when I register as an introducer?

Name, address, business name, company number, email address, telephone numbers, Consumer Credit License number and bank details.

Q. What is the application process?

Q. How will Provident know that it is my business submitting applications?

When you register you will be asked to set up a user name and password. This will activate your own bespoke broker code enabling Provident to recognise you as the sender of each application.

Q. How can I track the progress of my applications?

Reports are available on the website, in real time. You can get high level reports or detailed reports, plus you can search for an application by postcode.

Q. How long does a sale take from submission of an application?

From start to finish the process may take up to 14 days. Please see our application process flowchart which takes you through our loan application step by step.

Q. When do I receive my commission?

You will receive a commission statement during the 1st week of each month for sales completed the previous month.

Q. Do you have minimum qualifying criteria?

We ask that applicants must be aged 18 to 75 years, are not bankrupt or under debt management.

Q. Can customers still get a loan if they have been turned down for credit previously or have a County Court Judgment?

At Provident Personal Credit we consider applications from everybody - even if other people have turned your customer down in the past. However, we will only lend an amount we believe the customer will be able to repay.

Q. Why might a customer be declined?

An applicant could be declined because they're a previous or an existing Provident customer, or they do not live in an area with agent coverage.
